Lord Krishna:An Apotheosis of Love and Bliss

Wishing you all a very happy Shri Krishna Janmashtami.According to our religious belief,Lord Krishna was born in the month of Bhadrapad on Ashtami Tithi .It was a rainy season. We are well acquainted with  the story of Lord krishna and his birth in jail.He is a very popular Hindu God  all over the world and is known by several names as Madhav, Yogeshvar,Kanha, Gopala Keshav, Muralidhar, Nandlala etc.His early childhood fascinates saints, creative artists, poets and authors ,and  his heroic deeds are the source of religious faith and inspiration to his devotees. We get the glimpse of Krishna in every child. The reason is that every child is innocent and full of love.Krishna is described as a 'Navneet Chore’.His preaching to Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra shows the path and removes all the confusion of mankind. He is against renunciation and gives emphasis on 'Karama'.He is a symbol of egolessness. His personality is multidimensional because of which he is called the master of sixty- four Kalas. He is a charioteer, cowman, musician, politician , philosopher, great lover, and saviour of mankind.Krishna is the embodiment of the virtue  and Kansha is the  embodiment of vice .The conflict between vice and virtue is inseperable in this world and finally ,virtue becomes victorious.'Dharma Sansthapanarthaya' means for the establishment of religious values Gods incarnate  upon the earth in every age . May Lord Krishna shower his blessings upon us all and fulfill  our aspirations  in our life.We are the seekers of pleasure and Krishna is another name for perpetual pleasure (परमानंद).All the lovers of Lord Krishna can attain permanent pleasure in their life with a pure heart.Once again a very happy Janmashtami to each and all.
